In the last two days I have spent over three grand on the house. Therefore tonight our ailing TV decided to die a little more and no longer wants to talk to the remote. The remote still talks to the DVD player, so it's not the batteries. Whilst the TV has been scheduled for replacement for a very long time (one of the speakers has workplace issues), it's the first thing to get bumped down the shopping list.
Fortunately I was still able to watch tonight's Life On Mars, which featured a broken TV. Spooky.
Psst. Please don't tell the car.

Time to pay the piper
Mar. 6th, 2008 10:25 pmIt's lovely outside right now - deep and soft and velvety. I could hear the rain spotting on the roof but couldn't feel it on my head.

Big props to
lilysea for giving me a call this evening. Much appreciated kitten, thanks.
The perilous state of the TV makes me concerned that I might miss SYTYCD on Sunday night. Any dance fans have couch space for one? I tend to wriggle a bit while watching, and comment pointedly on occasion, but I'll promise to behave. My behaviour during Top Gear tends to involve more lurching from side to side whilst giggling.
