Probably not the best decision
Mar. 1st, 2008 01:41 pmWas all a bit vague about what to do with my morning, but eventually got sufficiently into gear to visit the local Cash Converters to check out the food processors. I'd assumed (and reasonably correctly) that a food processor was rather like a breadmaker - a device sometimes to be purchased, used a couple of times with great enthusiasm and then abandoned.
Saw a half dozen of the beasts and many many more juice makers and coffee makers, however the only ones on offer were either low end and not much cheaper than new, or clearly battered and bruised or carrying souvenirs of their past lives. There are some things I will buy cheaply second hand and covered in crud and be willing to clean up or restore. A food processor is not one of those things *shudder*.
Sadly there was no gleaming stainless steel vision of near-new kitchen engineering beauty waiting trembling for the attentions of my Visa.
( And then there was the supermarket )
