Sometimes my brain says things I like to think I'd be able to edit before they came out. I often have practice conversations in my head. I think it's why I like LJ so much; I'm merely transcribing.



Was contemplating this afternoon's probable Husband pickup from the train station, and considering how to manage shopping and/or a walk at approximately the same time. Message exchange during the day can be tricky: Husband is offline during the day and often forgets to check his phone after work (and only recently recovered his powers of voicemail after tinkering a little too much), and I am typically +1 unit further away from my phone than the distance I can travel for the duration of its ring.

I was thinking about the instructions I would leave him should I fail to answer the house phone or my mobile. Pretty simple stuff really: "blah blah blah, leave the time and your location and I'll move in to intercept"

Not "I'll come and pick you up," like a normal person. I think I'm subconsciously writing and/or living Richard Morgan fanfic.

"I'll move in to intercept."

Geez.

Probably the same way I'll get your baby book to you (at DLF's 21st perhaps). It got close - it was in my suitcase for the hour or so I was at Swancon.
