Today my aircon and I left a carbon footprint that would put a chain-smoking Yeti to shame. It was 44C. I feel no shame. So there. Really.

EDIT: Nope, feel guilty as sin.

EDIT2: But not enough to make me suffer the heat. 12 years of Catholic training = the ability to live with guilt.

I wasn't aware that chain smoking at altitude was inherently more environmentally unfriendly than that done at sea level. Or that yetis were environmental rapists. At least in comparison to, say, a Weber party in a Haulpak. Or Mr Burns' Christmas lights. Or a clearfelling monster truck. Or a coal-powered oil rig.

I figured the carbon footprint to deal with the funerals of the 3 of us if we turned it off was far worse. At least that's how I placated myself.
