I forgot to credit Livecon and the air conditioning in my con accessibility notes - thanks! Those were both very useful things. Yes, a small powerchair could get around the art show, but not at the same time that anyone else went around, but in practice this wasn't a problem.
In future cons, which we hope to be at, if you want to go out for a bite or shop you could maybe buzz me and borrow my powerchair if I'm resting? (It's not the greatest chair for outdoors, being a portable, but maybe better than nothing?) And now I'm wondering if it would ever be practical for the con itself to rent a good outdoor powerchair for members to hire for an hour or two, to get out for a meal. Or for a few individuals to go in together on this. Hm. I also have a spare manual chair that I could bring if that would be useful for you or anyone else.
