Look! Up in the sky!

stephbgLate afternoon Perth 24 April 2012. The sunset colours kicked up several gears after I took these but my batteries had gone flat by then. I chose to stay outside and enjoy the show as it changed from moment to moment. I'm surprised there aren't more sunset time lapses out there. I'd probably be less surprised if I actually bothered to go looking.
One of the interesting features of this sky was the variety of orientations of the different formations.
This is a bit hard to see but there were swirls in all directions:
Later on this section looked like a spiral galaxy.

And to finish off, a bit of everything:
After this all the best colours were to the East, which is interesting as all the action at the sunrise this morning was to the West. Either that or I've missed some fairly significant news items in the last few days.
