stephbgThese are some quick reference pictures I took of one of the tumbled stones I picked up a few weeks ago. These were part of the reason I started the hunt for techniques to deal with reflections. It looks like it will be a while before this particular rock gets a second chance in the light box so take a look now.
Great potential for pretty pictures in this.
This last one has the potential to join a group that look like planets:
Yes, I'm starting to Get Ideas about compositing. Next thing I'll be needing a Mac. I will probably need an input device somewhat more sensitive than the laptop trackpad I've become accustomed to. But that would require upgrades in furniture, and then all hell would break loose. Really, actual hell. Woosh.
