stephbgRecovering from the leurgy. Had my fly shot last Tuesday then laid low on Wednesday (ANZAC day) to give my little immune system a chance to do it's thing. Felt woozy and feverish but assumed all was well. On Thursday - WHACK! Full flu symptoms, headache, neck pain, general misery. Ditto Friday. Saturday shifted to soggy, Sunday felt almost functional and went to Armadale to visit an old friend. Today feel post cold/flu but much more like human.
Have decided to not complete at next year's Swancon masquerade. Too much damn pressure for a hat trick - definite fun squasher. I may change my mind later but at present it's a relief. Will concentrate on art show entries instead, and the show Matt and I are putting on.
Laptop arrives next week and after that we get kinda broadband (wireless, but better than 40kbs dialup).
