I have an enormous feedback post/report to write about Husband's latest concert venture Voyage, but I've been caught in the blogging trap of being too tired to write about that which has tired me. So. Many. Production. Notes.
Nightsiders by Sue Isle deserves a thoughful review, particularly since the author herself asked me as a Perth local to take note of certain aspects. Need more brains for that, but the non-brainy part of me just liked it.
I had planned to complain about the choices made by international SF anthology editors versus Australian ones. I had some research to do and something to say about gender differences in authorship.
I had something quite dreadful to say about Dragon's Fire by A&T McCaffrey.
Then there's the alcohol thing, most of which I've now forgotten.
There's always the cats and their dubious health.
Received an invitation to join an ACS online PD program, but they require a response by tomorrow, a starting date of next week, and a commitment over several months.
Swancon approacheth! Although I don't appear to have any actual responsibilities this year, except to defend my Iron Brain crown. While the current costume did pass the Covers My Nakedness milestone in its first session, it hasn't had any attention since so I'm not sure where that will go.
I saw a butterfly today. It seemed very confused.
