I wasn't planning to track this, but since I have developed a rash on my upper arm I thought perhaps the information might be helpful at some point. Not to the coroner, I trust. I've actually felt better in the last few days than I have for months, and have been doing some work at home. Best guess is that I have a minor infection of some sort and the jolt to my immune system is proving to be helpful.

Nothing to see, move along.

So yes, rash: upper right arm, about the size of a 50c coin, odd shape, red, raised and *hot*. Not itchy, although I do remember a brief itchy phase some time in the last evening or two. Similar sort of reaction I used to get for my allergy shots, particularly the heat. Since I've been in the dangerous creepy crawly breeding facility shed recently, I'd say the chances are good that I've been bitten by something. Maybe several baby somethings.

There's that, and then there's the last few days of unusual water cycling. When I wake up in the morning I inevitably have a wee. This has not been the case for the last 2 or 3 days (it's a bit hard to remember onset times for such things), and during the day I've felt that slight need-to-pee-but-nothing-comes-out feeling a few times. In my experience this usually heralds a potential UTI, so I've been drinking like a fish, with added bicarb.

At the same time I haven't been sweating nearly as much as is currently usual. I've been glad about this because the unnatural face sweating is one of my more irritating symptoms. It usually appears as a side-effect of certain medications, but it didn't go away when I reverted to my old and happily sweat-free meds. Yes, the weather has been humid and icky, so I kind of ignored that, but in the last couple of days I've been relatively dry-skinned, which is nice. I thought it was just the weather being nicer for a change.

Felt hot (though dry to touch); measured cold.

I am retaining fluid, for the outgoing is by no means matching the incoming, and my wrists are a lot less crackly. Maybe I just got a bit dehydrated. The lymph glands are up a bit, and there's been a bit of green snot, so maybe there's a mild infection of some sort kicking around inside. Taken separately the wee and the rash are not worthy of comment, but together I thought it best if I started tracking now. Shingles started with "inflamed bug bites" and my delay in getting diagnosis and treatment has had a serious impact on my life.

For reference, the first wee of the day is a bit dark, but not alarmingly so, and it clears at a sensible rate throughout the day. Not cloudy, but that is likely to change in the short term because I had some orange juice (a beige no-no, full of salicylates).
