I've never been tempted enough to find out whether truffles are my thing or not. In the days when I hung around with a particular friend who liked using truffle oil I wasn't wealthy enough to be willing to develop a taste for it (which is also my excuse for being willing to drink any wine that is red and not overly sweet), and since then the thought hasn't really come up.
However, would be intrigued to find out what your stuff smells like!
