It wouldn't be a day in my life if I didn't take stock of the wildlife I encountered over and above the usual cat and Husband quota.
Today I went to the local (relative to the folks' place) fair, but I was there a bit early for the baby animal farm thingie. Still, I got to sight if not touch an alpaca, some piglets and some bunnies. Similar look-but-don't-touch rules applied to the West Coast Eagles wedge-tailed eagle, which I saw from a mere couple of feet away.
Wedge-tailed eagles are *big* birdies.
