It's probably still a bit too tight for me, but we'll see what I'm left with once I'm done with all my health-related appointments this week :) Not sure if I'm strong enough for the convention, though! Baby steps required.

It has been repainted, and we have an oven, and I lined the pantry with my craft paper so it doesn't smell too much! The table tops are still kinda melted, and some of the wooden skirting boards are black, but it's really only a visual problem, they're as functional as ever.

The rest of the house is lovely, though, and the fruit trees, and the fantastically quiet, sleepy street. (I have learned to filter out the part of the street that involves frequent, multiple barking frenzies). It is a much nicer street than our last.

Kyoko (my cat) is still behaving a little oddly from time to time but she seems to be doing well. I keep meaning to write another post summarising all that has happened since I last wrote about the fire, and thanking everyone more directly, but the enormity of it is a little off-putting :O
