Nuke them from orbit

I have good termite news to report following an impressively thorough (and friendly) inspection today.
Yes, we have termites in the garden, although not where they were last week. Slippery little suckers.
Yes, we *had* termites in the window frames and nearby skirtings a long time ago, but there's no sign of current activity, and there's no more damage than that which I've already located. My forensic and biological guesses were accurate, although I fail at structural engineering. We can't all be perfect.
Since it's only 3 years since we put in a biflex barrier there's no point in putting in the stronger chemical they'd normally recommend for a high-risk house and garden such as ours. Instead they recommend (and for peace of mind I accept) a biflex reload and a couple of spot treatments on the active populations to discourage if not destroy. That's good, because I wasn't keen on the idea of killing them off.
Once the treatment is done and the house protected I can get back to the garden cleanup and remove the smorgasboard.
