stephbgAfter a glimpse of light yesterday I was very disappointed with today and crashed back down again. Oh well, tomorrow is another day. Highlight of the day was seeing and then choosing a soakwell guy to attack our various drainage issues, possibly starting as early as tomorrow, as he's got a hole in his schedule caused by two houses being delayed... Ah the delicate domino fall of trade scheduling.
Did get some good news re one part of the house, albeit overlayed on the discovery of more termite damage which I still believe to be old. Just more work in places I hadn't imagined would need it, and my imagination is pretty broad.
Mr Soggy (as he shall henceforth be known) wasn't the cheapest, but waxed lyrical about the art and science of drains and geocloth, apologised for being 8 minutes late, and produced a detailed and thoughtful written quote.
Found rice flour magically returned to the flour section at Coles, after having thoroughly searched the health food section to no avail. Rice porridge, check. Buckwheat and gluten-free flours, check. Rice flour, pass.
