It's almost like I get to be normal

It's very nice to be writing list posts again; it feels like a long time since I've done more than a single thing in a day--and lucky if that. It excites me that I might even forget everything I've done today. I want to record my progress but it might not make very exciting reading for anyone else, so feel free to step off the bus here.
Garden:
* Trimmed creeper off driveway.
* Pruned hedge away from washing line.
* Started untangling next to car port.
* Eyed off lantana threatening porch.
* Eyed off ivy threatening civilisation.
* Had a close look at hedge tangle in the corner (R&L you were right - I found two abandoned bird nests in the tangle).
Domestic:
* DustBusted sundry corners and edges. It's making a huge difference, because these are the bits that get missed even when we do the major sweeping and vacuuming. Filled and emptied the entire reservoir of mostly cat fur.
* Brought in the washing
* Assembled the food processor. Bought months ago but it languished in a box as too much effort to assemble, clean and learn. Deserves its own post one day. I have attachment issues.
* Made fish cakes with the food processor. Mmmm. Moussey fish.
* Cleaned the kettle.
* Cleaned the toothpick holder.
* Loaded the dishwasher.
* Painted over the living room test patch in the latest test colour, rather grimly called Pumpkin Skin. It was actually a reject sample pot from the kitchen, but might be suitable for the living area. It's passed to stage II: paint a piece of cardboard to see how it looks in different lights.
* Shifted the coffee table and couch a smidge. It will take a little while for the new angles to settle in, and some of it requires 2 people.
Creative:
* Assembled and mounted Stonehenge.
* Spent time on lj mostly on interview meme.
* Listened to a couple of BB's CDs while this was going on. Ronan Keating, and an excellent "Cool Summer Hits" compilation.
Sundry:
* Had a snooze.
* Had a shower and a bath.
* Minor electronic Swancon activity (that's most of tomorrow).
* Filled in a bank form; walked to shops to post.
* Played patience
* Iced neck.
* Noted with horror my super unbalance.
