The record run continued today, albeit with a little caffeine assist (day two in a row - got to watch that). What I'm noticing most about the last few days is that I'm achieving multiple goals in each day where before I'd count myself lucky to get just one thing done for the day. I like spoons a lot.

* Worked a solid 5 hours chargeable.

* Went for a brief leg stretch on arrival and located the bronze and marble gallery nearby which will become a window-shopping experience in the not-too-distant-future.

* Drove up to MS's place in the middle of the morning to drop something off. I'm loving the new stretch of freeway between Hodges Drive and Shenton Avenue. The Joondalup bypass knocks a good five minutes off the run.

* Filled and paid my BAS. Posting deferred to tomorrow.

* Welcomed LBS for a visit at my house before she flies back to be, well, LB'ed.

* Trawled through many shops in the search for scented drawer liner paper. It's everywhere unless you actually want some of the stuff. This to offset the faint but definite cigarette smell lurking still in BB's chest of drawers (now in my bedroom). I'm not keen to transfer my jammies under those conditions.

* Found a packet of the right kind of mouse toys. On sale.

* Tried on some clothes, specifically to fill the summer trouser blight for my current size and shape. Also picked up a tailored suit vest/bodice thingie for a mere $15. Admired some well made things in actual natural fibres, that were even on sale, but sadly in shades of grey likely to clash with my skin tones. Tone, singular, and not very skin-like. Most importantly, didn't feel like I was about to die whilst shopping.

* Apologies to Fantastic Planet but I bought the latest Peter F. Hamilton from A&R. That will have to wait a bit, for any reading in my immediate future is likely to be Swancon-themed.

* Got brave with data management for the Palm and archived a bunch of stuff. I've been adding so many tasks and events it was time to clear out the old. I started by trying to follow the instructions, but they were so ambiguous it was impossible to be certain if I had the correct sequence of tag+delete+archive+synchronise or whatever, and from which data source. In the end I experimented.

* Bought lightglobes and pens.

* Handled a small bit of Swancon Art Show business. Every day is a Swancon day from now on. I've some panel ideas to expand upon next, and work on PR3 and the Con book and the Opening Ceremony and the program and the art show and the events and the gaming and the videos and the prizes and the zombies and the guest-wrangling and the awards and the parties and the clothes and the toys and the fun and the games. It's going to be totally awefriggnigsomecakes.
