There's a severe weather alert around, and so we are advised to secure loose items in open areas.

It's Council bring-out-your-dead time, for which we are advised to make big piles of loose items out in the open.

Clearly the correct response is to get a giant net to throw over your large piles of loose items and hold it down with giant tent pegs.
