Christmas 1986

Lurking in the family album I found this action shot from Christmas 1986, taken in the folks' backyard. We were playing backyard cricket/baseball with a shovel for a bat and lemons for balls. The lemons tended to explode on impact, and I'm not quite sure if there was a scoring system. Or teams. But roundish things were thrown and struck with longish things, and there were appeals and celebrations.

Feline family history

One of the better-documented parts of the family history is the trail of cats. When I challenged Mum that the cat pictures in the family album were more reliably labelled than the people (her children), she responded that it was "obvious" who the kids were. The dates are a bit of a rough guess, as a single film could live in the family camera for more than a calendar year, and the prints did not always make it into the album. That said, and as near as I can guess I give you the Graham family cats from 1980 onwards:
