There's a severe weather alert around, and so we are advised to secure loose items in open areas.

It's Council bring-out-your-dead time, for which we are advised to make big piles of loose items out in the open.

Hmmmm.

The winds of change

The BoM occasionally issues a warning for sheep farmers: "a warning of cold wet and windy conditions when newly born lambs or newly shorn sheep will be at risk"

I miss the days when they used to call these 'Sheep Weather Alerts'.

Not quite a bit pregnant

Blood test results always annoy me. You get a number, and a normal range. Personally, I find this completely meaningless.
