Plumber arrival times:
1. "7:30am"
2. "Some time tomorrow"
3. "First thing, on his way to other jobs, probably 7:30am"
4. "Hahaha. Won't be 'til later, probably after 4 o'clock"

A while ago [livejournal.com profile] leecetheartist posted a possible albatross sighting in Perth. Last week I saw another possible candidate, near the Cedric Street offramp of the freeway (heading for Ikea perhaps?). Basically seagull-shaped but *humungous* and definitely pointy wingtips. Wings longer in proportion to bodylength than a seagull.

Was it ever established that an albatross sighting was feasible in Perth? It was just after some strong southerlies, which might have helped to blow it in.

One thing was to happen today: the plumber. First thing. Some time after 4pm, at last information. So, tomorrow at "about 7:30am" (if he shows up) would still qualify as "after 4pm". That's all right then.

*arms crossed*

*tap tap tap tap tap*

Up the workers indeed.

Missing plumber = Unexpected reading stretch, to the point of blindness

Command Decision, Elizabeth Moon. Book 4 of Vatta's War.

Cut for unco-ordinated ramblyness )

Rebellion with pizza and a devil-may-care attitude for the consequences is all very well, but really, I should pretend that it was a controlled experiment.

And what have we learned boys and girls? )
