Medical or cosmetic items do not use the same numbering system as foods, so scanning ingredients for bad additive numbers and some basic tags (nothing with "menth") is not sufficient. Tiny print on new super-safe tooth mousse that says "CAUTION: Do not use on patients with hydroxybenzoate allergy" apparently refers to me. Should have caught it.

Couldn't move this morning, now just clumsy, itchy, swollen, puffy, woozy. Have soaked in bicarb, off to bed. Really really want to see IronMan tonight.

Must take my biochem knowledge level up another notch or three.
