When I got home early this afternoon I took one look (and one mild squeeze) of Cally before calling the vet. She was definitely not fighting fit by this point and was caged with a minimum of fuss. No human blood, that's just not right.

I understand the purpose of recipe books, but I seem pathologically unable to follow in someone else's precise footsteps. Interesting, since I spend much of my professional life *writing* precise steps.
