A practical solution to being SAD
Aug. 30th, 2007 04:36 pmHappy to report I was back at work today (after two days spent largely unconscious), but after staring wistfully up at the slivers of pale blue sky visible from the street level of the Terrace I went searching for stimulation.
I found it here: Cable Beach, Broome. Where I'd quite like to be right now. Just as well the web site has all sorts of annoying animated bits, or I'd stare at the webcam for unhealthy amounts of time. (EDIT: Being a live webcam there's not much point in looking after nightfall)
On the subject of work I extended, improved and refactored my little VBA app so it now does quite clever things and yet also demonstrates stupid things one shouldn't do (such as progam in VBA). I'm quite looking forward to writing it up. There are Americans out there who don't understand Where XempleX Fits Exactly and I shall enjoy educating them *cracks knuckles*.
