Paralysed me
Jun. 12th, 2007 10:24 amPaybacks. Are a Bitch.
I woke up this morning (du nuh nuh na nuh)
And I couldn't move an inch. Fine I thought, I'll try to move my arm a centimetre. Twitch, said my foot. This went on for several hours until I am now up-ish. This is likely to happen at least a few more times until the bod gets the hang of exercise again i.e. things get worse before they get better, but actually, recovery this morning has been much better than in the past.
If I can get past this phase things will be much much better.
Most distessing is not being able to talk during this phase (oh, and getting painfully gaspy after every twitch) but fortunately Husband, though concerned, knows what's going on and doesn't panic any more. Poor darling. It must be a lot like having a sick goldfish vis a vis helplessness.
