New toy, part two

Dell Mark II (Win XP Pro SP2) is now in my hot little hands, and while it is significantly less pretty than Vista I can at least find where things live.

Oooh! Ooh! Just got a call that my USB wireless modem is ready so I can shortly have some kind of broadband from home!

Connected at last!

Well, it was like pulling teeth and involved more personal details than a marriage and a mortgage combined, but I now have something approaching proper connectivity at home and I'm not going to use it for work!

Time to tap in to NORAD and start World War III!

Now I know what technology is good for. A couple of gig of RAM, broadband to play with during leisure time, a nice LCD screen and a dual core processor make for a great programmable aquarium screensaver/zen program.
