Car hospital report

stephbgCollected my beloved wheels from car hospital this afternoon.
Just an overdue oil change *slaps wrist* and the usual bits and pieces - wiper blades, fuel filter, brake fluid. They told me the engine was making a noise but were unable to demonstrate. Typical bug behaviour!
It took me a while to get out of there, for Dave the Manager--though friendly and generally good with customer service--felt the urge to tell me an incredibly long story about a rude brake pad supplier. It felt much longer because he kept saying "anyway, long story short" at regular intervals. About eight times all up I think.
