Unfortunately woke up unable to move this morning, so perhaps too good a time was had on the weekend (or that Saturday 1km swim was ill-advised). After a slow start I managed to get several hours of work done this afternoon so perhaps the novelty of having me around has finally worn off and convinced the cats to give me some working room.
Husband was supposed to have the day off but was called in to replace a sick person at work. They're not a healthy bunch, these guides, being exposed to the ills of the world via the tourists (Patient Zero, every one of them). I'd like to think Husband's survival to date indicates his Darwinian fitness and my clearly superior mate-selection abilities. Such a shame to waste those genes.
