We took it out with RSPCA as they use the premiums for a good cause. Didn't matter what sort of pet it was to them. We were particularly anxious for Siah as while cats are generally in robust health for many years and expensive illness is unlikely (unlike the possibility with dogs where they may *heaven forbid* eat bait etc)accidents for outdoor cats are likely. As we found out the hard way. However having that insurance ensured we were able to do *everything* to try and help him. Not sure when we get cats again if we will bother as they will most certainly be inside cats...
