Teeth and homework

Finally got to the dentist today to file and fill that DIY broken tooth. Had to go back for a second go to remove extra fill from riiiiight at the back at the gumline. Jaw dislocated amusingly at some point as it does on occasion.
Fortunately I was ensconsed at the folks' place nearby, having decided I'd get more work done there than at home or in the city after fiddling about with appointments. Discovered that several hours of laptop use is decidedly anti-ergonomic so will have to invest in a stand and another keyboard for future efforts. I also went a full day without once using the mouse, so I can finally claim I've got around to learning to use a trackpad. Less than ideal for extended text editing, but I'm no longer quite as helpless as I was a few weeks ago. I have a new skill, yay!
The experiment to work at M&D's place went well - no cats to interrupt me, free (very healthy) lunch, and more cups of tea than I'd usually consume in a week. A good trial run for when Perth's public transport system collapses under the weight of the new train works. When that happens I have no desire to get myself into the city alongside the several tens of thousands of commuters similarly chucked off the trains.
