Words you want to hear as often as possible in a retail environment: "Give this lady anything she wants, no extra charge."

Woohoo.

The thing I wanted was a lamb roast without any flavour enhancers. The local butcher has made frequent offers to make special orders for me, but I've thus far not taken advantage. As for extra charges, I don't think there actually were any, but he was being extra nice :-)

Small victories

Last night I had a plan to kick start my brain this morning to match the physical progress: coffee. Coffee also equals 'location other than home' which is a Good Thing. I was tempted to have my coffee at the zoo, but since I wanted to also attempt work-like activity I settled for the coffee and sandwich shop (it can't be called a cafe) in the middle of my small local shopping centre. And ye gods it worked a charm!
