That stuff I said? Just kidding
Today I asked a couple of work colleagues of many years standing if they would be prepared to supply character references for me. No, I'm not going to court (yet), this is for the volunteer thing, to establish that I'm not the kind of person who'd walk off with one of the coffee mugs. Or one of the horses. Hmmmm. No, no, of course not.
Despite years of threats, swearing and bitterness, one said yes immediately. The other paused for effect; he's known me longer. But he said yes, I think. In hindsight I shouldn't be surprised: these people have clocked up who knows how many hours of observing me work with Microsoft products and I haven't *actually* killed anyone that they know of. That's calm under provocation all right.
Mostly.
Of note, I was at work when I asked - yay! Managed three whole hours today. Looks like the flare has mostly settled, and the nerve pain has just stopped. Feel a bit creaky, and tingly and stabby, but that's practically bliss in comparison. If I'm a good girl I sometimes get to feel nothing.

I have resumed zinc supplements.
Bought a horse body language book online today for a pitifully small amount and a ridiculously large shipping and handling fee. Still, the total came to what I'd be prepared to pay in person, so as long as it actually turns up, all will be well.
Was made happy by a new Big Bang Theory episode with Wil Wheaton. Gaming jokes, I gets them.
