Had a very big day of working from home today, so much so that I forgot to move around enough and am a bit creaky as a result. Isn't that fabulous? (Tip: Yes) Also: money!
Also got two packages from ebay purchases (always a relief when they actually arrive). USB microscope woo! Early trials indicate it's worth every cent of the $46 I paid (postage and GST included). That said, it's for Art so I should be able to extract some interesting if not terribly scientific images from it. Also, toenails. I have a few settings to tinker with, and the polarised filter also will come in handy it seems. Really need to work on those fingerprints. Nowhere to hide under a brightly lit optical device.
Package 2 was my first rock from China. Really well packaged and inspected by customs on its way through. Didn't seem to slow it down all that much.
Got some interesting sunset photos today, but missed getting the streaky clouds I saw whilst hanging laundry. I was too busy working inside! I'm almost a real girl now.
In other news Princess threw up on my pillow. I looked at the damage inside a couple of layers and decided it was time to replace the pillow anyway. It was a special molded affair, but I picked up a bog standard off the shelf one from Big W this evening. Thank heavens for extended trading hours.
