Dr Who: Blink

Forgot to record my appreciation for this excellently crafted and beautifully directed piece of quality horror.

By 8:20pm last Saturday night I was a bejesus-free zone.

One of the best episodes of Dr Who ever, in my book!

And a rarity - nay - unique, in that the Doctor is such a minor player in the piece.

The main lass is quick, clever, *non-shrieky*, and I would love to see her as an assistant. A good return to the days of Romana or Nyssa.

I liked her a lot. Definite companion material.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I had some issues with the logic in it, most of which have been ironed out of me by long discussion with a ten-year old who was surprised that my kids haven't seen any Dr Who!

While I think this actually surpasses green maggots for scariness, can't people close one eye, while keeping the other one open?

I liked the lass too.

*grin* That's what I was trying to do while watching, having failed to not blink for more than a couple of seconds :-)

Try switching eyes without having them both close on the transition!

And don't sneeze!

Or fall asleep!
