Fascinating and exciting

It's my latest paper finally published (not journal published, but finished-enough-to-be-on-the-company-website published) Woohoo!

Filling the Gaps in Enterprise Solutions

Go on, you know you want to read it. Guaranteed to stop wars, cure colds and put a
caffine-laden jack russell terrier to sleep.

Abstract
All enterprise solution implementations leave many critical business processes
inadequately supported. Unfortunately, these gaps in coverage tend to isolate the
most important knowledge capital and thus erode competitive advantage.

Historically, organisations have had three basic options to overcome functionality
gaps in their enterprise solutions. They could engage in lengthy and expensive
process re-engineering projects, purchase costly vendor customisations, or allow
individuals to develop workarounds.

The most common response is to make subject matter experts such as accountants,
production managers, engineers and business analysts develop their own ad hoc
solutions. Such solutions often feature a significant manual component, are
inefficient, isolated, and of dubious quality.

XempleX addresses this need by providing a graphical solution development
environment that can be used to quickly, easily, and efficiently capture highly
specialised process information. Most importantly, XempleX integrates these
modules with existing enterprise systems to form a continuous and auditable
process flow.

How could you resist?

I always try to read my friends' work encouragingly but, cough, I shall now have to make general observations about how worthy this topic seems.

*grin* Let's just say the intended audience is rather narrowly defined.

And wasn't it superbly edited? ;-) (Rhonda)
