When a highly trained athlete is unfortunate enough to suffer a fall in the medal round of a specialist event requiring perfection in strength and agility, please do not comment that he has fallen "on his little French bottom".

We were watching that event but didn't catch that comment. Did however hear them during the hurdles make the inane comment "that must have hurt" when one of the athletes fell at full speed taking a hurdle with her. Really? Wouldn't have guessed.

Yeah, I heard that one and raised an eyebrow. I bet if it had been one of the other finalists he wouldn't have talked about him falling on his little Polish or Romanian bottom. Are French bottoms that much more pert and notable?
