Cat ears
On many occasions in my short life I have puzzled my family by my actions and choices. Tattoos, almost any hair colour I've ever had, fishnets, comedy, jelly wrestling (it was *once*!) et al.
Yesterday I purchased a pair of cat ears and I was wildly impressed with the mega-cute effect when I put them on later. I passed on the tail. However, despite nearly two decades of miawing, purring, hissing, clawing, head butting and smearing cat behaviours from me, Husband found the new additions disconcerting, to put it mildly. He eventually warmed up to the idea when I mentioned corsets, stockings and riding crops. Ahem. Roll on Sin!
When the rest of my family find out I think the best I can hope for is some mystified silence or patronising eye rolling, and perhaps "Well it's better than Spock ears".
