Pretty rock of the day: Black quartz

Black quartz is officially smoky quartz, but I think you'll agree it's OK to call this stuff black. I haven't seen much around of this quality, even with a few broken points caused by TGSC. Enjoy.









It's very reflective.



I'd like to take advantage of this feature and maybe try some shots by candlelight. That might be asking a bit much of the little camera.

Something very 1980s about black quartz, I think. Knight Rider would have a lump of it on the dash.

Yes I can see that. I bought this in the very early 90's.
