Beige(ish) cookery

Combine brown rice, mashed potato, spring onions, butter and salt into a tasty and beige-friendly sludge. For a naughty and much tastier version of beige-curious sludge, add crumbled feta cheese. You don't want to see a picture of this dish, trust me. In theory I could have put a sprig of parsley on it, but I don't think that would qualify as plating up.

This recipe brought to you by the important question: "Should I eat brown rice or potato today?"

WHY NOT HAVE BOTH!

I have to ration my intake of brown rice. White rice is fine, but brown rice has too many nutrients in it for me to tolerate on a regular basis. I'd forgotten about this particular WTF. Remember boys and girls: brown rice is a *sometimes* food.
