Kung Fu Panda
Husband's movie choice tonight: Kung Fu Panda. I was a bit sullied by Microsoft hate to really appreciate it. Plus, I have issues.
I learned something this evening: I retain deep and bitter regrets that I was forced to give up Kung Fu. It bites, it really does :-( . This is not a helpful 'tude to take into an animated comedy feature. They didn't show enough *respect* man.
In happier news, animated bunnies are always cute and funny.
As for the actual film, I was less bothered by the whole make-fun-of-fat-people theme than some, and generally lulled by the join-the-dots script. Except I kept trying to identify the end of Act II. "Have we reached the lowest point yet? How about now?"
Some nice new technology, and noticeable improvements in fur and cloth.
I believe small children would find it amusing and would definitely injure themselves in the attempt to imitate the moves. For extra fun and sleeplessness, add sugar and red food colouring to your child's slumber party viewing.
