I find the current weather radar image a little difficult to believe:



I miss the old radar :-(

Pretty rock (or elemental metal) of the day: Bismuth

This piece of bismuth was grown in a lab in Germany, and purchased in Hahndorf, South Australia. I'd forgotten how colourful it was. Sadly none of the photos came out with proper focus, but you get the idea, and there's always google image search which I highly recommend.
