Am currently re-reading Richard Morgan's Market Forces, actually retrieved from my to-trade pile, for I wasn't too impressed with it the first time around. GoH homework calls, however.

I've never been one to read multiple books in parallel, but I'm off to soak in a bath and Market Forces charming blend of sex, violence, stress, and corporate bastardry just ain't soaking material.

Wasn't 'Market Forces' the only Richard Morgan book that the homework panel specifically _didn't_ recommend? I'm sure I remember someone on the panel saying they didn't like it much...

Sounds like they made a good call. I felt obliged because I'm thinking about panel topics for him, and had one of those "It can't be *that* bad" moments.
