:(

It sounds like yesterday sucked a lot. I was hoping today would be better for you.

I am around online if you want to chat--I may actually be the only person on the entire internet for the whole weekend.

If you need a cheering thought--I made myself an instant decaff coffee/carob/oat-milk iced mocha today--mmm... specialicious!

Glad to hear your voice. Today was just for catching up on sleep and being together, but it's all a bit bleah. Started to look at carsguide and try to figure out a budget. We won't get much back on insurance.

Your concoction sounds interesting. That's what I call giving the beige diet a nudge! I never did get to try out my portable kitchen - a travelling jug (with an enclosed element) and small metal bowl on top like a double boiler. Just the thing to melt chocolate... if I could have chocolate.

I also transported three raw eggs with great care--and home again--and they survived. Before I knew about amine's I'd just have boiled them but not eaten them for 1-2 days. The horror!

I did dodge a bit of a bullet. Having carefully separated out the white marshmallows out of the packet I didn't notice until I got home that they contained preservative 220. Looks like it's just Pascal that are the safe ones.

You could try the Quokka for a car. We listed our car in their and sold it to mutual satisfaction for $800.

*hugs*

Strength to you both.

I ventured into the con today ([livejournal.com profile] buoy_wonder had filled the house with friends, and we decided it would be quieter at the con), but will be staying at home tomorrow. I survived today, but I'm exhausted and ill and shaky. A whole day at home, and I might be able to face Sunday at the con again.

So, you won't be the only usual con attendee absent tomorrow.
