I'm having one of those days, too, only it's exhaustion for me. It's 11.10am, and I've opened a Word file. Not a huge amount of productivity. I've also looked at my chapter index cards for the novel, and decided my plan is stuffed.

Morale is not high here.

I have notified my publisher that the novel deadline is one that will be whooshing past me. She took it well. There was even a smiley face in the email back from her, despite the complete absence of any kind of excuse from me. I figured that she didn't want to hear why I was going to be late with the manuscript, only when it was going to be complete.

Cup of tea?

Conceptually? Absolutely

Practically? Sadly not. See you Sunday.

green tea? (i have been meaning to ask if you can drink it)

today i did a pilates session, spent half the day recovering, then finally got around to starting a very messy first-draft of how i want to manage the various personal projects that i keep losing track of. not that productive really.

oh, and i bought some nice bread. and lost my caps-lock key. and drank 2 espressos.

All teas of any kind are out.

Was your caps-lock key trying to get away?

yup. it managed to scurry away to behind the sofa. i'm scared to look there in case of what i might find.

It must be quite depressing to be a caps-lock key, mostly being hit by mistake, and being held up as the default bad guy of password mistakes.

If I were a caps-lock key I'd want to toss it all and catch a flight to Rio. And you can quote me.
