Our goldfish (in the indoor pond in Albert Park) used to keep the water-snail population WELL under control - even the large yellow ones, far too big for their mouths, which I suspect they slowly worried to death. And I'm sure that water-snails are a very healthy natural food for fish. Yum yum yum.
