I hope the finger stays put, and the cancer is kaput!

M Napier Waller is one of my favourite artists. He lost his entire right arm in WWI, but taught himself to draw with his left, and produced some exceptional works. He's known for various mosaics around the place, the National War Memorial is one. He is a great inspiration.

Of course we hope that Husband doesn't lose anything, but I find Waller's perseverance inspiring when I look at my problems which then suddenly seem minor.
