Spotlight shopping

To the crafty ones: Tomorrow (Saturday) I get an extra 10% off all purchases at Spotlight, so I was planning to go to the Joondalup store in the morning and strip the place bare.

If you would like to share in the bargains you're welcome to join me. Comment if you don't have contact details. Comment if you do. Share the love.

I'd love to come, but my mum just got me a couple of things that 'couldn't wait' yesterday... Otherwise I'm trying to hang out until the new one opens (because it's so _close_!)

I comment less to be excited about Spotlight, and more to apologise as I'm not going to make it to karaoke. I hope desperately you read this before 8pm.

And I wish I was organised enough to have phone numbers. Oh, and more than 3 hours sleep.

Got the message in plenty of time. There are certain advantages to being surgically attached to lj. Sleepy bo-bos.

And come on, you think I would have left my house without phoning your house first to check you were going? What kind of spontaneous wild thing do you think I am? ;-)

BTW We are the only BGs in the phone book. Makes life easy for once.

To quote the lovely [livejournal.com profile] doctor_k_:

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

No curtains for me. I have a feeling my fabric is lying somewhere in a lumpy thread-pulled uneven mess, and the curtain maker is several thousand km from that location.

OK, maybe not. I just got up the courage to call the shop and eventually got to someone who gave me a long list of the things that can go wrong with heavy fabric, the fact that the woman who did my quote was from a different shop and shouldn't have agreed, it's very difficult to work with etc etc.

At one point the wrong tracks were ordered, but everything's apparently OK now and has been sitting in the shop since Wednesday.

Sagas. I hate sagas. One day I (or someone) will have a home improvement experience that's a haiku, or at least a limerick.
