Lines are for crossing

I fear I have crossed an important line.

I have ordered my first custom T-shirt from CafePress.

I can blame Swancon, the lateness of the hour and the desire to receive a package in the mail. I also happened to need a comfy T-shirt. But I've often wished (too late) that I'd thought to create The Ultimate T-Shirt to parade at Swancon.

I have not created The Ultimate T-Shirt.

It lacks nerd cred. It's an original quote by me.* It's pale blue. Of all the things I could have written on a T-shirt, this is what I chose on this occasion *shrug*. There will be other opportunities to create... life.

Ah, other opportunities. MuahaHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I already have a Birman T-shirt, but it's slowly converting to Birman T-shirt atoms. I can create Pumpkin The Birman T-shirts! With fluffy photos on one side and Husband's cartoons on the other. What's to stop me? NOTHING!

And I ordered one of [livejournal.com profile] leecetheartist's too.

(*) Hubris? What's that?**
(**) No, that's not the quote.

ED: Oops I did it again. Somebody stop me.

Now you've tried cafepress for design, try Zazzle - you can actually customise other people's designs there, or your own, changing colours and backgrounds and so forth on the shirt. It's a lot more intuitive than cafepress is artwise.

If you need any advice on cafepress & zazzle wrangling let me know.

I haven't tried Redbubble yet but intend to at some stage.

And thank you for your purchase, I hope it brings you pleasure!
