The neglected fur children
The cats are very glad we are back.
Very.
Their behaviour has been pretty much as predicted. Big tough Cally hid for most of the first day, but once she emerged she became exceedingly clingy, noisy, and demanding. Fussy Princess came out of hiding sooner, but has hovered about anxiously. And Pumpkin? Greeted us joyously and has been furry, purry, and excessively affectionate from the get-go. No change there.

As for us, well I can't say that we didn't enjoy a bit of a break from their occasionally neurotic affections. We've learned how to not worry about them when away. Whenever we wondered what they were doing, the obvious answer was "Sleeping".
Much to my disappointment none of them has shown any interest in tiger smell, but it's probably overwhelmed by the alcohol etc in the Wet Ones it was collected in.
