The hour is late the chemistry is wrong

Instead of succumbing to good old fashioned anaphalactic shock today (after being bitten on the eyelid, if you missed it), my trick wiring has delivered me a slightly different present: near total cover itchy pins and needles. Rather like shingles. Superficially like hayfever. Treat more like shingles. I have treated this conservatively in the hope of salvaging tomorrow but my current location propped up on the laptop about 3 hours before the alarm is due to go off would suggest it's not going to happen.

Fortunately I am not currently interpreting these odd signals from my nervous system as either invisible rats or bugs burrowing under my skin. More like being stabbed by Lilliputians. Bad small people.

Curtains for me!

I have my allegedly impossible curtains. Foolishly I forgot to take before photos, and I'm too woozy to take afters, but they look good, and certainly block out a lot more light than the old ones.

I supervised the installation from the couchus unconscious position. Mmmmm. Drug interactions.

My neighbour's house has just been put up for sale "from" $619K *boggle*. Extremely renovated, but wow. I wonder what the human lottery will bring us in the way of new residents?

I suppose I should do some weeding in my front yard to help them along.
